FlexiJobs is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. When we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified or we can tailor our services to your needs, rest assured that your information will only be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy, the terms of website use and acceptable use policy. This policy is effective from 15th March 2013.

For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (The Act), the data controller is Flexijobs Global Limited. Our nominated representative for the purposes of the Act is Violette Lemery.

WHAT WE COLLECT

We only collect information that is relevant to our services and necessary to identify you :

  • Name, Surname ;
  •  Personal information such as sex and marital status ;
  •  Postal address and electronic mail addresses ;
  • Employment and Educational information contained in your Curriculum Vitae or Covering letter;
  •  Website navigational information;
  • Details of transactions you carry out through our site and of the fulfilment of your orders;
  • Details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access ;
    • Information that you provide by filling in forms on www.flexijobs.fr. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our site, subscribing to our services, posting material or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site.

WHAT WE DO WITH THIS INFORMATION

We require this information to better understand your needs and provide you with a better service and in particular for the following reasons :

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We use high level encryption software to prevent access to your personal information. Unfortunately, the internet is never a completely secure environment and we cannot guarantee that hackers or unauthorised personnel will not gain access to your personal information despite our best efforts.

We cannot protect, nor does this Privacy Policy apply to, any information that you transmit to other users of the Website.

COOKIES

Like most websites, we use cookies and weblog files to track site usage and trends. The cookies we use are ‘analytical cookies’. They allow us to count the number of visitors and identify which pages are being viewed or used with the sole purpose of analysing data about webpage traffic and to improve our website in order to tailor it to our customers needs. We do not store unencrypted personally identifiable information in the cookies.

We may allow authorised third party cookies such as, but not limited to, Google Analytics to gather usage data from our website. Any information provided to third parties through cookies will not be personally identifiable but may provide general segment information.

COMMUNICATIONS TO NON USERS

Any communications initiated as a user of our website (invitation to a non-user through the Email to a colleague button) will list your primary email address and name in the header of the message. We will never use your contacts to communicate directly with your contacts, until they have registered as a user through direct access to our website or by your invitation.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can also exercise the right at any time using the contact us button at the top of our website.

ACCESS TO INFORMATION

The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

The Company and the Processor acknowledge that for the purposes of the Act, the Company is the Data Controller and the Processor is the data processor in respect of any Personal Data.

The Processor shall process the Personal Data only in accordance with the Company’s instructions from time to time and shall not process the Personal Data for any purpose other than those expressly authorised by the Company.

CONTROLLING YOUR INFORMATION

If you believe any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct or remove any information found to be incorrect.

You have the right to close your account and request that you personal information be removed from our website. If you close your account, we have no obligation to retain your information and may delete any or all of your account information without liability.
