Exercise 3 : Extravert or Introvert
Extrovert people are happiest when they are active and working with others. Introverts, on the other hand, derive their energy from being by themselves and prefer working on their own or in small groups. In reality, we are all a mixture of the two, but most of us will have a clear preference for either introversion or extroversion.
Both types of personalities are equally valuable in the workplace, but your style of working and the way you communicate with others can be heavily influenced by whether you have a tendency towards extroversion or introversion.
The purpose of this exercise is to see which one you favour most strongly.
At the end of this test, you should be able to:
Determine if you tend towards introversion or extroversion
Know how to adapt your communication style so that it is neither too extrovert or too introvert
Know how to adapt your communication style according whether you are speaking to an extrovert or an introvert
This exercise is structured in a way that allows you to reflect and make notes. Put as much detail as you want in the spaces provided.
